Peanut Obsidian Earrings with Citrine.

I cut this unique volcanic glass from a mine in Sonora, Mexico. Small crystals of perlite grew within the glass flow and crystalized what looks like tiny flowers. The white perlite later changed color due to iron oxides in the soil. Cut in a bookend style where both stones are mirror images of each other. The accent stones are fine examples of the best Madera Citrine from Brazil. Set in fine silver bezels with sterling silver ear wires.
